Workshops

These are being run alongside the exhibition for a number of local First and Middle schools.

The four artists are experienced in devising and running exciting educational activities and adapting their ideas to meet the needs of different groups.

Karen Rann's sessions are based on the patterns and geometry created by the microbiological (bug) populations within the ponds - involving pond dipping and magnifying samples.

Julia Barton's activities are based on the movement and containment of water in the pond system - involving experimenting with water flow both on site and in the classroom.
